The President and Legal Representative of the CBCA received in an official audience by the Minister for Kampala Region Affairs

It was within the framework of strengthening institutional relations and reinforcing the regional presence of the Baptist Community in Central Africa (BCCA) that an official audience was held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel, between the Honorable Minister in charge of Kampala Region Affairs, Hon. Hajjat Minsa Kabanda (Cabinet of the Minister of Kampala Affairs), and Rev. Dr. Jonathan Kavusa Kivatsi, President and Legal Representative of the BCCA.

The President and Legal Representative of the BCCA was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Magguy Kivatsi, as well as a significant delegation from BCCA Kampala, led by Rev. Pastor ALI MWAMBA Colin, the Pastor in charge.

The discussions first focused on expressing the BCCA’s gratitude to the Government of Uganda for the warm welcome extended to the Church, the institutional support provided, and the official authorization granted to the BCCA to operate legally in Uganda.

This recognition marks a significant milestone in the expansion of the BCCA’s mission and regional engagement.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore avenues of collaboration between the BCCA and Ugandan public institutions, particularly in the fields of education and health, identified as priority sectors with a strong social impact on local communities.

After more than thirty minutes of constructive exchanges, it was recommended that the BCCA develop and submit concrete project proposals, with a view to formalizing future partnerships oriented toward human and social development.

As a sign of fraternity and appreciation, a symbolic cloth bearing the inscription “Mukristo Adjali Mwinda” was presented to the Honorable Minister. The meeting concluded with a prayer led by Rev. Dr. Jonathan Kavusa Kivatsi, for the Honorable Minister, her team, and their mission in service to the population.

It should be recalled that Rev. Dr. Jonathan Kavusa Kivatsi has been in Kampala since December 13, 2025, where he is conducting a baptism seminar at BCCA Kampala Parish–Katwe, centered on the theme “Integrity Christians Life.”
